A unique Domaine

The Domaine de la Pousse d'Or, is pleased to offer 5 grand crus and 11 premier crus of which three are monopoles, in Côte de Beaune and Côte de Nuits. For centuries, harvesting the purest expression of our exceptional terroirs has become an obsession.

Today, our biodynamic work in the vineyards, the organically controlled vinification process, as well as the prolonged lees aging contribute to the essential balance, finesse and richness of the distinguished Pinot Noir grape for the red wines and Chardonnay for the white wines, and is accentuated by the Women and Men of the Domaine de la Pousse d'Or.

The plots, representing about 17 hectares of vines, are located on the emblematic villages of Volnay, Chambolle-Musigny, Corton, Pommard, Puligny-Montrachet, Morey-Saint-Denis and Santenay.

REVIEW

Despite its obvious power, the 2012 Corton Bressandes is quite subtle. Dark stone fruits, tobacco, violets and cloves emerge as the wine opens up with a little air. The 2012 impresses for its persistence and overall textural breadth. There is a suppleness and tenderness to the 2012 that makes me think it will offer a long drinking window.
