Managed by Dominique Lafon, also in charge of the Comtes Lafon estate in Meursault, in Côte d´Or, this Mâconnais property stands out among the references in the region since 1999. This Saône-et-Loire vineyard - 20 hectares planted with Chardonnay - was quickly converted to biodynamic agriculture.
Premier Cru Burgundy from Savigny les Beaune, excellent value, ready to drink but can be kept longer. A wine plenty of fruit with well integrated structure. This full round wine is very long and charming.
The Pommard wine has a dark red colour with intense and percussive aromas of blackcurrant, musk and game. Acidity well-marked and a mellowness that only appears after a minimum of maturation. Tannic and charpented wine.
Fullish red purple, with a richer softer strawberry nose with a few darker more animal notes alongside. A touch firm up front, but there is a really engaging vibrant yet ripe red fruit behind. Excellent length, very promising.
