Loire Valley White wine
Golden yellow in colour with green tints. Assertive on the nose with hints of citrus, peach and white flowers. When swirled the bouquet further reveals its aromatic potential and complexity. The initial taste is crisp and full, soft yet well balanced thanks to its acidity. Notes of white flowers compliment the fruit aromas found on the nose. Fine length...
WS: A beauty, with an inviting display of succulent yellow apple, green plum, pear, persimmon and quince flavors that ripples lengthily through the finish, while light verbena, ginger and honeysuckle notes dart around. A long green tea echo runs through the finish. Shows terrific range and purity, with the sweetness easily harnessed for balance.
This is a Sweet wine yet refined and elegant on the palate, this is a full-bodied, rich and generous yet piquant and firmly structured, greatly tensioned and salty Moelleux. With less clay and more stone than Le Haut-Lieu, Le Mont yields young wines of intense minerality. The wines are the estate's most reticent, but develop the strongest perfume with age.
Baron de L Pouilly Fume has a powerful and fresh nose with aromas of orange peel, grapefruit, beeswax and floral hints. On the palate the fruit is full and elegant showing a mineral complexity combined with herbaceous fruit and zesty acidity. The length is extraordinary and makes Baron de L one of the finest expressions of Sauvignon Blanc.
