Loire Valley wine
The Chinon Rosé is a dry wine, its color is pale pink due to direct press. Delicate, with notes of white fruit, it is a perfect aperitive wine or served with simple dishes, barbecue-grilled fish. Quantity is limited.
WS: A beauty, with an inviting display of succulent yellow apple, green plum, pear, persimmon and quince flavors that ripples lengthily through the finish, while light verbena, ginger and honeysuckle notes dart around. A long green tea echo runs through the finish. Shows terrific range and purity, with the sweetness easily harnessed for balance.
This is a Sweet wine yet refined and elegant on the palate, this is a full-bodied, rich and generous yet piquant and firmly structured, greatly tensioned and salty Moelleux. With less clay and more stone than Le Haut-Lieu, Le Mont yields young wines of intense minerality. The wines are the estate's most reticent, but develop the strongest perfume with age.
Baron de L Pouilly Fume has a powerful and fresh nose with aromas of orange peel, grapefruit, beeswax and floral hints. On the palate the fruit is full and elegant showing a mineral complexity combined with herbaceous fruit and zesty acidity. The length is extraordinary and makes Baron de L one of the finest expressions of Sauvignon Blanc.
