Château Zaya specializes in a Merlot-dominant varietal, which remains one of the most admired and collected wines. It is made with a unique blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc grapes. Château Zaya is classified as a Grand Cru (French for “great growth”), a designation for vineyards with a favorable reputation for producing premium wines.
G&G : Deeply-coloured with orangy tints. Very ripe nose with accents of leather, liquorice, undergrowth and stewed fruits. The palate is mature, well-balanced and shows traditional tertiary aromas. On top form, drink now.
